How Chagua polls work
Chagua polls are informal public-sentiment polls, not an official vote count. Here's exactly how they work, and what they are not.
One account, one vote
You must be signed in to vote, and each account can vote once per poll. This stops the same person voting many times, but it cannot stop someone from creating multiple accounts — no online poll can fully prevent that.
Your ballot is secret
We record that your account voted in a poll (so we can stop double-voting), but which option you chose is stored completely separately, with no link back to your account. Nobody — including site administrators — can see who you voted for.
What this is — and isn't
These results reflect the opinions of people who chose to vote on this site. They are not a scientific poll, not a prediction, and not connected to Kenya's official electoral process in any way. For the official electoral process, refer to the IEBC (Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission).

Reporting a problem
If a poll looks misleading, biased, or wrong in some way, use the "Report this poll" link on that poll to flag it for our moderators.
