The first vessel carrying equipment for the construction of Dangote oil refinery has arrived at Lamu Port.
The project, worth over two trillion shillings, is expected to be officially launched on Wednesday next week, with Kenya Ports Authority Managing Director Captain William Ruto saying construction activities have already begun.
According to the government, the project will benefit neighbouring countries, with oil expected to be sourced from Turkana County.
