How Chagua labels people
Every profile can show this line. Green is where they are now. Struck-through steps already happened. Open rings are still possible. IEBC-cleared and In office carry more weight because they are facts of office or of the ballot — not campaign talk.
The person or party has a profile on Chagua. Being listed is not a campaign announcement and not an IEBC ballot paper.
They have said they want the seat. Parties have not necessarily nominated them. The IEBC has not cleared them.
A registered party has named them for that race. They are still not on the ballot until the IEBC clears them.
The IEBC has accepted their nomination. This is the status that belongs on a ballot paper.
They hold the seat now. It does not mean they will be on the 2027 ballot.
These are not steps backward on the rail. The profile is not deleted.
They have left the race. The profile stays up because they ran or were listed.
The person has died. The profile stays listed with respect, because they ran or held office.
Chagua does not rank or endorse anyone. A label is only as strong as the source behind it. Official vote figures belong on sourced result rows, not on this rail.
