Defence lawyers withdraw from Dr Victoria Mutiso murder case

Lawyers representing Rose Mbithe and her children, prime suspects in the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso, have withdrawn from the case.
Lawyers Cliff Ombeta, Danstan Omari, Sam Nyaberi, Shadrack Wambui, Martina Swiga and Mr Kilonzo have withdrawn from representing Rose Mbithe and her children, Chris Mulwa and Angela Mulwa, in the ongoing murder case.
Appearing before Justice Alexander Muteti on Tuesday, the legal team requested that their names be removed from the court records, saying their clients had acted contrary to the legal advice they had been given.
