Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire has been made to apologise and clarify a statement she made about a feeder road in Runyenjes constituency that is under repair.
The Governor found herself on the receiving end of criticism from Runyenjes MP Muchangi Karemba, who called her out for lying that the county government was constructing the Makengi-Kamuraru road that is within Runyenjes constituency.
Mbarire shared photos of bulldozers on the road, accompanying them with the caption: “ongoing murraming and grading of the Makengi-Kamuraru road in Gaturi North. #DeliveringThePlan”
