The government is fast-tracking the completion of 1,656
kilometres of road projects in Kiambu County at a cost of Ksh.152 billion,
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has said.
Kindiki said the projects, which are at various stages of
implementation, are intended to improve connectivity and boost economic
activity, particularly in rural areas.
The Deputy President made the remarks on Tuesday while
inspecting development projects in Kiambaa and Gatundu South constituencies,
where he said he would closely monitor the road works to ensure faster
completion.
