KISII, Kenya, Oct 8 – Asset financing company Watu has opened a Samsung-authorised phone service centre in Kisii Town as it expands after-sales support for customers who acquired smartphones through its financing model.
The company said it has financed more than 1.5 million Samsung smartphones on loan in the Kisii sub-region, providing access to devices for customers who may not have been able to afford them through upfront payments.
Watu Kenya Country Manager Damien Gueroult said the new service centre was established to protect customers’ investments and ensure they have access to quality repairs and genuine spare parts.
