Dr Wanjala cautioned that repeated use of P2 pills may cause temporary hormonal changes and menstrual irregularities, urging women and young girls to seek professional guidance before using contraceptives.

Health experts in Embu County have raised concern over the misuse of emergency contraceptive pills, commonly known as P2, warning women and young girls against relying on them as a regular family planning method.
