Kennedy Njau, a film director and the father to the two girls who died in a house fire in Gachie, has called for a thorough and independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
In a viral video, Njau alleged that Tehilla and Angel were locked inside the house when the fire broke out, raising concerns about whether their deaths could have been prevented.
He said the children had been picked up by their mother, Nyambura Mburo, for their usual weekend visit, which he said took place twice a month.
