Four people have died while 21 others sustained injuries after two matatus collided head-on at Maembe Mbili in Nyakwere, along the Katito-Kendu Bay road in Homa Bay County, on Friday, October 16, 2026.
The crash left several passengers injured, prompting emergency responders to take the victims to hospital for treatment.
