A 62-year-old man has been arrested in Kajiado County after detectives found him with four children in a bedsitter in Isinya, prompting investigations into suspected child trafficking and defilement.
The suspect, Enock Peterson Mwangi, alias Mwamburi Mwandeme, was apprehended at Korompoi Trading Centre following an intelligence-led operation, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The children, aged 17, 16, five and one year and four months, were found in the suspect’s company, leading detectives to investigate how they came to be under his custody.
