Deputy President Prof.
Kithure Kindiki has urged residents of the Mt. Kenya region to support
President William Ruto for a second term, saying the region has benefited from
various development projects.
Speaking during
his development tour of Marimanti in Tharaka Nithi, where he launched the
upgrading to bitumen standards of a road, Kindiki took a swipe at Wiper party
leader Kalonzo Musyoka, claiming he has no development record from his time in
government.
“Hata yule mtu
hakuna rekodi ya kuonyesha alipokuwa makamu wa rais, hadi sasa tunamtengenezea
barabara kule kwake Tseikuru, kwake huko Ukambani,” he said.
