A section of UDA leaders in Kitui County has urged Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to join President William Ruto’s government, warning that his alliance with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua could leave him politically frustrated.
Speaking at a burial in Nuu, Mwingi Central, Nominated Senator Beth Syengo said Kalonzo deserved respect, citing Thursday’s incident in which he was heckled during the launch of the Linda Mwananchi Movement headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.
Syengo accused Gachagua of orchestrating the embarrassment of the Wiper leader, arguing that a politician of Kalonzo’s standing should not be subjected to such treatment.
