The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has launched the Msimu Bila Ajali, Usalama Barabarani campaign to address risky behaviour and prevent loss of lives on Kenyan roads.
In a statement dated Monday, October 26, 2026, NTSA said it was working with law enforcement officers to sensitize drivers and passengers while conducting day and night safety checks along major transport corridors.
To reduce crashes during high-risk periods, the authority has prioritized night operations, when evening and late-night hours are statistically the deadliest on the roads.
