Police officers implicated in the death of a 48-year-old woman who was allegedly thrown from a moving police vehicle in Mwea, Kirinyaga County, have recorded statements as investigations into the incident continue.
Kirinyaga County Police Commander Anderson Njagi said all officers mentioned in connection with the incident had recorded statements with investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA).
“We are taking the matter seriously. All those who have been mentioned have recorded statements,” Njagi said on Thursday.
