Candidate announcement
President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza brigade on Sunday took their two-term gospel to Nandi county, where he announced a number of development plans for the residents, among them connecting them to electricity and expanding roads in the region.
Addressing his supporters in Kapsabet town after a church service, Ruto continued his criticism of his political opponents, singling out Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, former CS Fred Matiang’i and Wiper Patriotic Front Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
“Mr. Empty and Shinny Things, Mr. Yala and Ruaraka and Mr. 40, you have no agenda for this country. You are angry and planless. We will not allow you to divide Kenyans along ethnic lines,” Ruto said.
