Police confirmed the recovery of a second female body from the rubble of the collapsed building in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
In an update issued on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the police said the multi-agency rescue team retrieved the body as the search-and-rescue operation continued.
The NPS further revealed that four survivors have so far been pulled alive from the rubble.
“So far, a total of four survivors have been pulled alive from the rubble. Unfortunately, the multi-agency team retrieved a second female body from the site today, 3 November 2026. Police extend heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased and wishes the injured a quick and full recovery,” read the statement.
