Standard Group PLC has announced the appointment of a new CEO days after Chaacha Muita resigned.
In a statement dated Monday, October 26, the Mombasa Road-based media house announced the appointment of John Bundotich as its new acting CEO, effective November 1, 2026.
“Pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 11 of the Thirteenth Schedule of the Capital Markets (Public Offers, Listings and Disclosures) Regulations, 2023, the Board of Directors of The Standard Group PLC wishes to notify its shareholders and the general public of the appointment of Mr John Bundotich as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company,” read part of the statement.
