Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Dr Oburu Odinga has dismissed claims
circulating on social media about his health status, insisting that he is “safe and in good spirits.”
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the
Office of the ODM Party Leader described the claims as “malicious, unfounded fake
news and propaganda” and urged the public to rely on official communication
channels.
“We wish to assure the general public, members of the Orange
Democratic Movement (ODM), the people of Siaya County, and the entire nation
that Dr Oburu Oginga is well, safe, and in good spirits,” the statement said.
