NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 4 โ The Senate has confirmed the removal of Tabitha Keroche as Deputy Majority Leader, with Nominated Senator Veronica Maina taking her place in a fresh shake-up of the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) partyโs leadership.
In a communication to the House on Wednesday, Speaker Amason Kingi said the changes followed a resolution by the Majority Party to remove Keroche and elect Maina to the position.
Kingi told Senators that he had received correspondence dated November 3 from Senate Majority Whip David Wakoli, accompanied by minutes of the Majority Party meeting and a signed list of senators supporting the resolution.
