Raila Odinga’s daughter, Winnie Odinga, has declared her bid for the Nairobi Senatorial seat in the 2027 General Elections.
Speaking during Raila Odinga’s memorial, Winnie said that because Sifuna is aiming for a higher seat, there is space, and she wants to occupy the Senatorial seat for Nairobi County.
“Kuna nafasi hapo Nairobi and that is why I have decided that I will stand for the Senate of Nairobi, lakini siendi peke yangu. I am going with young people,” she said.
