At least 17 people sustained serious injuries following a bus crash at Migaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway in the early hours of Sunday, October 18.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident occurred at around 12:30 am and involved a bus ferrying mourners from Kisumu.
The crash prompted a joint rescue operation involving the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) Nakuru Branch, police, Molo ambulance teams and members of the local community.
