The Registrar of Political Parties has approved the name “Linda Mwananchi Movement” following a Tribunal order finding the initial rejection legally unjustified. The 90-day reservation requires full registration before 2027.
The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties has officially approved the registration of the Linda Mwananchi Movement’s name after months of disarray regarding the political outfit’s future.
In a letter dated Thursday, October 1, Registrar John Lorionkou revealed that the decision followed the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal’s (PPDT) ruling that ordered the Registrar to reserve the name within seven days.
