The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang, who was wanted in connection with the murders of prominent Nairobi lawyer Mathew Kyalo Mbobu and Victoria Nthunya Mutiso.
In a statement on Saturday, October 24, 2026, the DCI said detectives from its headquarters arrested Sang in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County, following actionable intelligence.
Detectives intercepted the inspector along Uganda Road in Eldoret’s Central Business District as he drove a silver Toyota Fielder, registration number KCM 508L.
