The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has called
for the recovery of assets acquired through corruption, saying the process is
key to demonstrating accountability and rebuilding public confidence in state
institutions.
EACC Vice Chairperson Dr Monica Wanjiru Muiru said
returning assets obtained through corruption for public benefit helps translate
integrity commitments into tangible outcomes for Kenyans.
Muiru spoke while representing the Commission at the Trust
Summit 2026 – Nairobi Dialogue on Global Trust, held at Glee Hotel in Nairobi
from October 21 to 23.
