Former Alego Usonga Member of Parliament Otieno Makonyango has died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nairobi.
The current Alego Usonga MP, Sam Atandi, confirmed Makonyango’s death in a statement on Sunday evening, October 25, 2026.
Atandi mourned the former legislator, announcing that he had passed away while receiving medical care in the capital.
