Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua pulled yet another rabbit from his political hat on Tuesday, October 20, quietly returning to Kenya from the United States before resurfacing at his Wamunyoro residence for a meeting with leaders of the Linda Mwananchi Movement.
Perhaps more surprising than the meeting itself was how the former Deputy President managed to slip back into the country without the fanfare that characterised his previous return from a similar engagement with Kenyans in the diaspora.
This time, there were no elaborate airport receptions, no convoys of supporters and no public mobilisation to welcome him home.
