On my kicker tonight, sixty-two years after independence,
Kenya must confront an uncomfortable question: Where are the heroes of our
time?
Where are the men and women who will put country before self,
service before privilege, and the public good before personal gain?
Where are the patriots prepared to sacrifice something for
Kenya, instead of demanding that Kenya sacrifices everything for them?
