Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua is reportedly eyeing the Machakos Senate seat in the 2027 General Election, Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse has revealed.
Speaking during a rally on Saturday, October 24, Mutuse disclosed that he had heard his former boss’s Senate ambitions, as political leaders begin positioning themselves ahead of the next General Election.
“You know that Alfred Mutua was my boss. I worked for him here. I have heard he wants to become the Senator for Machakos,” Mutuse said.
