‘Leave Us in Peace’: Ida Odinga’s Camp Addresses Mbadi Over Criticism of Family

Mama Ida Odinga’s camp has appealed to Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi to stop criticising the Odinga family, with corporate governance and public relations strategist Odhiambo Otieno urging the CS to leave the family in peace following Raila Odinga’s death.
In a personal appeal addressed to Mbadi, Otieno who is Ida’s Press Secretary, apologised on behalf of the family for any wrongs they may have committed against him and asked him to reconsider his remarks about the family.
“Jakom loved you dearly as his protege. In his grave, his family needs your best wishes, if not silence in solemnity,” Otieno wrote.
