Police in Kiambu County arrested a 38-year-old man suspected of killing his wife after he was discharged from Ruiru Level 4 Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for serious head injuries.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, October 18, 2026, after being discharged from the facility, where he had been admitted following an alleged suicide attempt.
According to police, the man was admitted to the hospital on October 14 at around 6:30 am after allegedly jumping from the Waki Stage footbridge and landing on the busy Thika Superhighway.
