Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has weighed in on the debate surrounding Kinuthia and other crossdressers using female toilets, calling for a balance between individual rights and concerns about privacy, safety and dignity.
In a statement dated Monday, October 26, Passaris said everyone deserved to have their rights and dignity respected, regardless of their sex, gender or gender identity.
“Leadership demands upholding everyone’s rights and dignity, regardless of sex, gender or gender identity,” Passaris stated.
