Police from Starehe Sub-County have arrested five suspects accused of stealing mobile phones from members of the public during an ODM political rally at Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi on Saturday.
The arrests were made after officers conducted an operation targeting individuals suspected of taking advantage of the political gathering to rob unsuspecting attendees.
The rally brought together party leaders, supporters and members of the public for a political gathering at the Jacaranda grounds. The large turnout provided an opportunity for the suspects to allegedly target people attending the event.
