Police have recovered 445 sheep and goats following a multi-agency security operation in Kaloriwa village, Turkana County.
According to the National Police Service (NPS), the operation saw officers engage suspected livestock thieves in an exchange of gunfire before the suspects fled, abandoning part of the stolen animals.
Officers initially recovered 365 sheep and goats, while the suspects escaped with the remaining livestock.
