Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has accused Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru over going after the Deputy President’s seat and undermining its current occupant Kithure Kindiki.
CS Ruku argues that Waiguru is sabotajing DP Kindiki’s prominence in the Mount Kenya region, arguing that the politically dominant region shall only prefer one candidate to occupy the seat and support President William Ruto’s ambitions.
Speaking at the ACK St. John’s Church in Kiambu County, CS Ruku maintained that the second-in-command’s position is a preserve for the President and can only be determined when he makes his choice.
