President William Ruto has failed to comply with a court ruling requiring him to comply with the two-thirds gender rule in his Cabinet composition.
The High Court in July ordered the President to reconstitute his Cabinet within 120 days after finding that only 7 members are women out of 25 members.
This meant that women only hold 28% of the positions, falling short of the mandatory 33.3% minimum and that two women would need to be added.
