Kenya Met Issues Warning to Kenyans Living Along the Coast

The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned of rough to very rough sea conditions and strong winds along the coast.
In a marine forecast for the period between 23rd and 29 th October, the department expects east-south-easterly to south-south-westerly winds over Kenya’s coastal and offshore waters, with speeds of 4–24 knots (2–12 m/s).
“Wind Conditions: Strong Breeze to Very Strong Breeze, with locally stronger winds possible. Sea conditions are expected to range from light to rough, with locally very rough seas possible in areas experiencing stronger winds and higher waves,” Kenya Met said.
