The office of former President Uhuru Kenyatta has clarified that the former First Family, including Uhuru, his wife Margaret Kenyatta, and their children, do not operate personal social media accounts.
In a press release dated October 27, 2026, Kanze Dena Mararo, spokesperson for the Office of the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya, said the office operates only two official social media accounts authorised to communicate on its behalf.
“The Office of the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, wishes to inform the general public that the office operates only two official social media accounts,” read part of the release.
